To impart good quality education in both technical and non-technical fields Poojya Shri Murugharajendra Swamiji has initiated education-program through establishment of ‘Shri Channabasaveshwar Vidyapeeth Educational Trust’ in Gokak in April 2008. The Trust has its premises of 16 acres land spared for the development of educational institutions, hostels, orphanage, houses and research centre. Trust opened Shri Siddhalingeshwar BCA College in June 2011, in Gokak, affiliating to Rani Channamma University Belagavi and recognition by Govt. of Karnataka. The Trust has opened ‘Shri Channabasaveshwar Vidyapeeth Pre-Primary and Primary School’ in June 2009, in Gokak in its premises.

About BCA course, the computer-education needs of the students of Gokak town and the surrounding areas of the Taluka. The college is situated near Valmiki circle, Naka No-1 road connecting to Sankeshwar-Nargund State-Highway and it has the premise of sixteen acres of land. The college played significantly a unique role in imparting a professional education, particularly to the rural students, who were previously deprived of such educational facilities in this area. We believe that providing such qualitative professional education would shape the careers of the students who otherwise may never have had the chance for such education.

We have adequate infrastructure, playgrounds, well equipped computer lab richly stocked digital library, smart classrooms, modern computerized office with student friendly staff and well qualified teaching faculty.

The college has been offering BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) regular UG Course under the affiliation of Rani Channamma University Belgaum and recognition.
